Inventory Update Configuration

Stock level of assigned products will be updated when an order is successfully placed. There are two configurations within the app to help you manage inventory. 

  • When order is canceled or refunded: check the box to adjust stock accordingly. 
  • When new stock is updated from your ERP/ IMS: some ERP/IMS will enable the inventory tracking of products to perform the stock update to BigCommerce. This event would lead to your products being unassigned from BackOrder app. To keep the products remained in the app, check the box “Automatically disable inventory tracking”. This configuration will not affect your inventory synchronization.
